Insurance and Cancellation Coverage
GLOBO ALPIN’s flight bookings include travel cancellation insurance, repatriation insurance and luggage insurance (complete cover) in the value of the entire travel fare. For all other services and events, participants are responsible for their own cancellation coverage. GLOBO ALPIN offers cancellation coverage at a surcharge of EUR 50.00 (valid up to a total amount of EUR 1,000.00 within Europe). The GLOBO ALPIN travel cancellation coverage must be booked at registration. Related costs shall be included in the total amount.
In case of withdrawal during the event/service (including flights), only costs that have not yet been accrued, such as expenses for half-board, shall be refunded. The client cannot make further claims, even if a GLOBO ALPIN travel cancellation coverage has been bought.
 
Cancellation - not travelling by plane:
Scale: For cancellations up to 30 days prior to the booked departure date a fee of EUR 150.00 arises. For cancellations 15 to 29 days prior to booked departure we shall charge 50% of the total travel fare, for cancellations placed 14 days or less prior to the booked departure a fee of 80% of the total travel fare applies, plus EUR 95.00 as an administrative fee shall be charged. The written cancellation’s receipt date is decisive.
For the surcharge of EUR 50.00 GLOBO ALPIN offers a cancellation coverage which includes all usual events as participant’s accidents, illness or property damages.

Cancellation - travelling by plane:
Travel bookings usually include a complete insurance package in the value of the entire travel fare. Please check the corresponding services of each travel package.
Scale: For cancellations up to 30 days prior to the booked departure date 40% of the basic travel fare (price without flight) applies, for cancellations placed 29 days or prior to the booked departure date 90% of the basic travel fare (price without flight) shall be charged. The cancellation conditions for the plane ticket are subject to each airline.
The administrative surcharge amounts to EUR 135.00. The written cancellation’s receipt date is decisive.
