The Innerkofler Via Ferrata is one of the best-known via ferratas in the Sexten Dolomites. It follows the former Italian front line of the First World War and leads to the summit of Monte Paterno, offering spectacular views of the world-famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Here, we will experience sunrise with beautiful views of the Tre Cime and the surrounding Dolomite peaks.
The descent continues through the historic wartime tunnels. These dark passages are both fascinating and thought-provoking, providing a glimpse into the harsh conditions in which soldiers lived, worked, and fought during the First World War.
The perfect way to end the tour is with a traditional mountain breakfast at the foot of the north faces of the Tre Cime.
