There’s no denying that winter snowfall in the Alps is becoming less reliable, varying greatly not only from region to region, but also from valley to valley. As GLOBO ALPIN mountain guides, we are constantly out and about in different areas, so we know exactly where the best snow conditions can currently be found.
That’s why we offer the “Where Snow, We Go” touring concept — for all ski touring enthusiasts who prioritise excellent snow conditions and quality over a fixed destination.
With over 33 years' experience of ski touring, we know countless regions, the best tours and the finest accommodation. The selected touring area will always be within a maximum two-hour drive of Toblach and will cover the entire south-eastern Dolomites, the main Alpine ridge, neighbouring East Tyrol and the many side valleys of Vinschgau.
You won't need to worry about snow conditions, but this 'snow advantage' also means flexibility: even with early booking, the final destination will only be announced shortly beforehand (around three weeks prior). That's when you'll find out where we'll be leaving our tracks in the snow and where we'll be staying.
