Powder courses are an integral part of GLOBO ALPIN, just as snow is to winter. The absolute priority is learning—or improving—downhill technique in off-piste terrain. Accordingly, these courses always take place at a ski resort, where we use the lifts to ascend.

Good downhill technique greatly enhances the enjoyment of skiing, not only on groomed slopes but also on ski tours, where tired legs are often an issue.

Using modern teaching methods and video analysis, we demonstrate how to ski on the piste and then move into off-piste terrain. We remain true to our proven destination: Stubai.

The key reasons are high snow reliability, excellent off-piste opportunities and easy accessibility. This course offers something for everyone, from beginners to more experienced off-piste skiers.

To top it all off, we stay in beautiful hotels with excellent cuisine, special charm and wellness areas, ensuring a true holiday feeling.

Program Overview:

Day 1: Arrival in the course area. Meet the mountain guide at 08:30 for full-day training on and off the piste. The main focus is on optimising downhill technique in open terrain. Incorrect movement patterns are analysed and corrected through targeted exercises. In the evening, video analysis is used to review technique and provide improvement tips.

Day 2: Full-day training on piste and off-piste. The focus remains on refining ski technique. Using the latest methods and targeted exercises, individual skills are developed throughout the day and analysed again in the evening via video.

Day 3: Full-day training on and off the piste. The main priorities are learning the fundamentals, improving personal performance in powder and applying what has been learnt. Handling standard emergency equipment will also be practised. Departure is at around 5:00 pm.

Lunch is taken in various restaurants within the ski area on all three days.
