The gentle alpine slopes of the Gsiesertal are ideal for ski touring, offering a combination of enjoyment and physical activity. Here, ski tourers will find numerous routes leading through snow-covered forests and across expansive alpine meadows. The moderate ascents make the valley particularly appealing to those who wish to explore the winter mountain landscape at a relaxed pace.

In most cases, the summits can be reached on skis, and the descents are no more challenging than the ascents. This is why the Gsiesertal is particularly popular with moderate ski tourers who value beautiful tours and a more relaxed experience.

From the summits, there are stunning views of the nearby Dolomites. A particular highlight is the powder snow, which makes touring in the Gsiesertal a real pleasure.

After a tour, the hospitality of the locals and the rustic alpine huts invite you to linger. Here, ski tourers can enjoy regional specialities and soak up the warm, welcoming atmosphere.

With this 'car-free' touring week, we are introducing a new GLOBO ALPIN concept for ski touring weeks. The basic idea is simple: beautiful, easy and uncrowded ski tours without the use of a car, combined with traditional dishes made from locally sourced produce.

We will be staying in a family-run three-star hotel with a wellness area, where we can relax our muscles and start the next day feeling refreshed. The fact that the hotel is perfectly located for starting many tours directly from the doorstep completes the experience.

Tour options: Kalksteinjöchl (2279 m), Spielbühel, Pfinnscharte (2395 m), Verbontal (approx. 2300 m) and Million (2438 m).
