In South Tyrol, it is difficult to find a ski touring area with as many advantages as the mountains around Sterzing. Firstly, there is the region's legendary snow reliability, followed by an incredible number of beautiful and rewarding ski tours. Finally, Sterzing is easily accessible via the Brenner motorway. The area is therefore very popular among ski tourers, who require the experience and knowledge of a local mountain guide to find the lesser-known and scarcely tracked tours.

To top off the experience, we have selected the beautiful Hotel Rainer **** with a swimming pool, sauna area and excellent food for this weekend. It is located just a few kilometres from Sterzing, yet completely away from noise and bustle, in the peaceful Jaufental valley.

This weekend is ideal for those who want to escape everyday life, experience silence while moving through nature and enjoy relaxing moments in a mountain hotel.

x Ascent pace: 200–250 metres of vertical ascent per hour. Ski touring experience required.
Ascents of up to 800 metres (2–4 hours). Short, steep sections may be encountered during ascent and
descent. Kick turns are not mandatory, though individual kick turns may be required. You must be able to
perform confident parallel turns on piste or stable snowplough turns in all snow conditions.
