This Dolomites traverse does not follow a hiking trail described in any travel guides; rather, it leads along significantly less frequented trails from Brixen to the Three Peaks.
We begin at the edge of the Dolomites, and the route then guides us through initially gentle terrain into the heart of the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park. Crossing the park from west to east, the final stages lead directly into the rugged heart of the Dolomites and the striking Three Peaks.
As well as wonderful alpine hikes, we will also attempt several summit ascents in order to experience the full range of contrasts that these mountains have to offer up close.
We will stay overnight in carefully selected mountain huts in beautiful locations, most of which offer the comfort and amenities of traditional alpine inns. The culinary specialities of each accommodation provide an enjoyable and authentic way to round off the daily mountain experience.
