This Wild Trail is the extreme variant of the increasingly popular and heavily frequented Selvaggio Blu. We're setting off on an amazing journey starting in the beautiful Sardinian inland, where we'll explore the stunning Cala Sisine. From there, we'll follow the breathtaking coast over the next few days, making our way back to the charming town of Santa Maria Navarrese.
We have been so excited to explore every stage of this tour week over the years, and we have done it! The once mysterious and unpronounceable place names used by the locals have become images for us, and during our private explorations through the Ogliastra we have continuously discovered new shepherd trails, crazy caves, wonderful coves and established hidden abseil points.
All of these amazing experiences, incredible discoveries and thrilling adventures have led us to create this fantastic variant! We've made sure to cross the classic Selvaggio Blu as rarely as possible, travel in an anti-cyclical direction and, whenever we get the chance, stay in different and stunning sleeping spots. We are thrilled to announce that sleeping directly on the beach is now a thing of the past here! For the safety and enjoyment of all, this wonderful location is now strictly prohibited for that activity.
However, if you're looking for a challenge, this is the one for you! You'll need to be sure-footed, have a head for heights and be able to climb, but that's all part of the fun! This trail is absolutely amazing! It's perfect for anyone who loves long abseils, demanding via ferrata passages, exposed rock ledges and dark caves. Just make sure you've got the necessary technical skills and you're good to go!
