For many, Greece is all about sun, sea and ancient history. But in winter, the country reveals a different side entirely: remote mountain ranges, pristine slopes, traditional villages and the unique allure of a Mediterranean winter.

As the winter of 2025 demonstrated, Greece is no longer a hidden gem – it’s a well-known destination for ski tourers, offering reliable snow, challenging terrain, and surprising diversity. With Athens as our arrival hub, some of the country's best ski touring areas are just a few hours away. Based on real-time conditions, we can choose the regions with the best snow flexibly, drawing on years of local experience in both summer and winter.

Our ski touring areas

Depending on the weather and snow conditions, our week takes us through three iconic mountain ranges in Central Greece:

Mount Parnassus, known for its reliable snow and varied terrain; the wild, alpine Vardousia Mountains; and Mount Giona, one of the highest peaks in Greece at 2,507 m.

To finish, a true highlight awaits: ski touring with sea views, either on the island of Euboea or among the dramatic rock formations of Meteora.

This journey combines rewarding ski tours with a Mediterranean winter atmosphere, authentic Greek hospitality and outstanding local cuisine – offering a unique winter adventure far off the beaten track.
