Winter enjoyment in the Dolomites

Gentle ski tours and a welcoming mountain hut atmosphere with host Michi

When the outside world grows quiet, the snow crunches beneath your skis and the Dolomites reveal their winter magic, it’s time for relaxed days of ski touring away from the crowds.

Just a few kilometres from Toblach, in the idyllic Höhlensteintal valley, lies ANAS 126 — a carefully renovated former road maintenance house and our cosy retreat for this special winter week.

Accompanied by Michi, the founder of GLOBO ALPIN and a mountain guide who knows the best tour destinations, loves cooking, and enjoys good company, we will explore new routes every day, adapted to the weather, snow conditions, and individual fitness levels.

Thanks to our accommodation's location in the heart of the Dolomites and close to the main Alpine ridge, the touring possibilities are almost endless. Each day, we cover around 1,000 vertical metres, focusing on nature, safety and the shared experience.

A place with heart: ANAS 126.

Michi is not only our mountain guide this week, he has also been the owner of ANAS 126 for the past two years (and has therefore also worked as a part-time mason, plumber, electrician, carpenter and more 😉).

Our accommodation strikes the perfect balance between comfort and simplicity, offering four cosy rooms, modern bathrooms with views of the Dolomites, a spacious living area with a wood-burning stove and an open kitchen where you can relax and unwind.

Evenings are all about togetherness: Michi, our host, cooks with the group, shares stories from his mountain adventures and creates an atmosphere where you quickly feel at home.

The focus is on regional produce, simple recipes and a relaxed vibe — this is not a hotel, but a true home away from home.

This trip is ideal for anyone who loves ski touring in a relaxed atmosphere with time for breaks, views and good conversations.

ANAS 126 can also be booked privately for groups of up to ten people.
